Most of the methods of language learning have rapidly developed, particularly in the previous forty years. It is essential to understand the different techniques and methods as a teacher, training manager, or language learner so that the enjoyment of learning a language can be increased, and educated choices can be made.

Each teaching method is based on a specific vision of understanding the learning or the language procedure, often using particular materials and techniques used in a set sequence.
